Hi Experts,

I have an Axpert/Synapse 5.0+ inverter, 10 x 410w panels and two 3.5kw Pylontech batteries. My question is as follows:  I have adjusted the charge controller to only charge the batteries via solar so at night when the batteries are depleted, we run off utility. But, during this time (Inverter line mode) the house load is around 600w (going through the inverter) and the load going to through to Eskom is 1,3kw. I installed an Effergy meter to check this. Is this normal?  In my opinion, because the batteries are not suppose to charge, the loads should be much closer to one another.

The left image is the charge going to Eskom and right is the house load.
