I have buyed the usb adapter, however i have tried several types of wiring and still not managed to comunicate the pylon baterys with the programe. I mean i see that there is some sorth of comunication because the programe shows green for batery but it shows 0 pylon on it. Can someone help me? I hav 1 pylontech us3000 and another one us3000c. My inverter is an aspert ax 5000 and this one is comunicating well with the program. Sass

Randmental
It should be much easier to use a USB to RS232 dongle cable. US3000 - RJ9, I used an old telephone cable, wired as indicated below. US3000C - RJ45, I used standard LAN ethernet cable for the connector and wired as below. Here are the RS232 connections from the Pylontech SOP: Edited October 12, 2021 by Randmental Spelling

It looks like your pin connections are wrong for using the port you are plugged into. This is from the US3000C manual, you should be using pin 7&8 on the RJ45. Also check your baud rate and dip switches. It looks like they are all on, but I'm not familiar enough with the C to confirm. Normally you would have them all off or only DIP 1 on if you want a baud rate of 9600 as you have only one pack. P.S. Sorry about the late reply... I was travelling outside my home country with limited internet access.

Layzeesod
Anyone managed to read data from me3000sp yet ? I have connected ME3000SP via 485s port using a 485 to usb converter, the laptop sees the usb converter ok but the inverter is not detected, I have tried reversing the 2 wire connection on the 485 to usb converter still no data, so I could have a faulty converter or simply the software does not support ME3000sp ? Piper
After adding another 2 pylontechs to my system It seems that multisib only reads 8 units. I messaged Yani to hear if there is an update or work arround for this. Just standing by for now.
MarcB2007
Well, I have 10 Pylontech running (6x US2000, 4x 3000C). They are all shown in MultiSIBControl! US3000C is working as Master. (US3000C - 6x US2000 - 3x US3000C) If you use C-Modell you need a different cable for RS232 between Pylon and PC as well as a different cable RS485 between Pylon and Inverter. Thanks Clearly the problem is not multisibcontrol. I will change my config a bit and see if it makes a difference. The laptop Im using for monitoring doesnt have the RS232 port so Im only using a RS485 to USB cable at this stage. Will report back again. MarcB2007
So according to the picture you use RS485 to communicate with your PC. I use console port between Pylon and PC. With console port my ten batteries are working. I have this cable in use: US3000C-Port-Cable Edited March 27, 2022 by MarcB2007 Piper
