Guest
What i try to say is that some programmers are busy developing for the Infini inverter. For the Axpert inverter there is AICC develop by Jaco(JDP) very cool software that will read the inverter values and opload it to the cloud (http://pvoutput.org/ or https://emoncms.org)

___
This might be a completely useless suggestion, but along with a whole bunch of development board junk and components someone threw my way, I got a wireless serial usb module. On both ends, it shows up as a usb-serial device, but instead of a cable it uses a wireless link in the middle. It's made by Atmel, so it probably won't be cheap. With something like that, you might create a very long serial "cable" between the inverter and the computer that you are using, and then just use the standard software that comes with the inverter. Or something... :-)
Guest
Or you have a reader at the device that sends data via WiFi to the "server" where you want the data. One I am thinking of sadly is only for Windows.
riogrande75
Why not take this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-USR-WIFI232-USR-WIFI232-B-Serial-to-WIFI-module-WIFI-serial-WIFI-serial-server/2042341563.html Off course there need to be a server with either SolarPower or another polling software (e.g. infinpoll) running. edmundp
I have seen some youtube video of someone in Sweden using a serial to wifi adaptor successfully. It does work! Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
