Yusuf
Hi All I am looking for a basic inverter to run lights, alarm, gate motors, intercoms and few plugs (for charging phone, alarm clocks). I was considering either the MECER Solar Hybrid ( SOL-I-AX-3M ) vs Proline Hybrid Inverter PROEIM3K24 . The mecer is R1000 more, but the specs look the same to me so was considering the proline. I am total newbie when it comes to inverters. Anyone have a preference on the Mecer vs Proline? Any thoughts on whether spending the extra R1000 is worthit. Guest
EDIT: Welcome Yusuf. Another angle to consider, but first three questions: What is the MAX continuous watts you need powered? What is the highest peak watts that can happen? How long do you need the device to run for, AH needed in other words?
Mike
both makes are the same. I sold 20 of the 5kva today with another order for 50 more for Wednesday. Some suppliers are dumping stock as sales slow down in winter normally.
Guest
And also because there is no more load shedding. Stuck with stock, for the real solar people ... we are a breed on our own.
