EASUN POWER 5000W ISolar SMK 5KW "Clone Mppsolar PIP 5048MK"

Hi I bought an inverter
EASUN POWER 5000W ISolar SMK 5KW
I believe it is a Mppsolar PIP 5048MK Clone
But how can I be sure?

I would like to understand this so that I know what firmware I can update
in my inverter I would very much like to avoid
which always loads those 2A from utility

There are modifications and improvements for this inverter
I would like to manage the SUB and SBU scabio by time now I'm trying to do it with SolPipLog

I would also like to manage the On battery discharge limit
which SolPipLog doesn't handle for now and it would be nice
being able to do everything from FW inverter I read that the PIP-MAX version
has these things would be nice if there would also be in the MK series
but maybe there are changes or fw that enable this you know?

It's so hard. I just don't know. But take heart from this EASUn unit (NOT the same model as yours) which updated to patched Voltronic Firmware just fine. I think that makes it 95% likely that they are not clones. Before updating with sticker, after updating. If as I suspect they are associated with Must Power, it may depend on when it was made as to whether it's genuine or not. More recent models seem to be genuine.

As to whether it's a King model or not, Kings have setting 10 (operation logic) that other models do not. It should look like the unit in this advertisement.

No, I only just learned of the discharge limit setting yesterday. I don't know of any non-MAX firmware that has this feature. Even removable display version 02.60 does not have setting 41.

Edit: Axpert MAXs have their own removable display firmware series, e.g. version 12.03, suggesting that the MAX removable display firmware is separate from the King/VM III display firmware (the King/VM III display firmware are combined into one binary image).
