___
Always wondered about this. Once measured it at around 35W, but now it seems it might be even lower than that when not time-shifting. Just saw this super-low reading and realised it's probably because nobody is at home. Well, strictly speaking this isn't just the PVR, it's the ADSL modem as well, but it gives you an idea just how efficient these things have become. cvzyl
Hi plonkster, what do you use to measure and how do you get it displayed? Is that the total consumption of your house???
___
It's what the inverter reports to the VRM site. I only have half the house on the inverter. In hindsight, I am now thinking this must be a mistake. My fish pond is on that circuit too (that was by accident, not planned, and too much trouble to change), and that pump alone is rated 55W. I know the chinese made stuff tend to inflate their wattage somewhat because it sounds good, but I still would not expect numbers that low. I'll have to check out the CSV download. ___
Okay, something is wrong with that number. Battery charger is disabled, so I would expect input power and output power to be very similar. In reality, input is shown as 116VA and output only 22VA. Unless it does some kind of strange power factor correction, this is very odd. ___
Something is screwy with these numbers. Disregard.
Guest
Not saying it is the same problem, but I have interesting results as well.
