swazz99jhb
Hi. I have the Sunsynk. Came with a RJ45 (568B) cable. Is that to be used between the Sunsynk and Am-2? Do I plug it in the CAN port? And then? Thanks
swazz99jhb
Yes that was the cable. Go to battery setup , select lithium, select CAN. SAVE Go to LiBMS. Done Edited February 20, 2021 by swazz99jhb Spelling
Bluefronted
Hi. Is the CAN Bus cable different to a normal Ethernet cable ? If it is what other cable can i use as my batteries are a bit far away from my Sunsynk to use the Red cable as provided.
swazz99jhb
Hubble confirmed that an ethernet cable works for CAN between Sunsynk and Hubble, but they've found it causes interference and recommend a cable with only pins 2,4 & 5 being used. HendrikBigChief
One other thing to do it to set the AM-2 hubble battery to address 1. This is the master address that will talk with the deye inverter.
