Energy-Jason
Hi Everyone. I hope all is well. I have been working hard :> The store is ready. We are just injecting costings, Everything is setup from Webstore to checkout to courier :> Before we inject prices please have a look at them and how they compare to whats out there. These are on victron inverters. Costs are exclusive of Vat and these units are available in the major areas in RSA to minimize shipping overhead. Energy-Jason
And for all that were wondering. Yes we do have the busbars and battery terminal fuses :> Chris Hobson
Guest
At LAST!!! But where are the nice busbars I suggested? The ones with nice colors. Our setups must look cool. I will be in contact.
Energy-Jason
Colors There will be! :> How do the prices compare so far? I shall be shot soon, Jay

There is a price are on the web, and THEN you get Gumtree. I am 100% for smaller margins on hardware, make money on installation for that is a skill that is scarce. How people, not you Energy, can sell equipment at "market prices" adding no value and charge for installation on top of that, just freeking ticks me off. Sooner solar installers becomes the same as electrician, the better. The prices are very good. Victron now just needs to follow Voltronic and drop theirs to you. Ps. Make price VAT inclusive. As I said, I have it on some authority that they are working on this. They want to sell to the common man too, not just the rich man :-) Apparently a cheaper 800W Multiplus is scheduled for Europe real soon now, and lessons learned from that will find its way into new products. Had same chat with Victron on the Voltronic price difference few months ago. Told them they have no chance to compete in SA with these Voltronic prices. So I am very happy to hear they are making work of it, just another feather in their cap say I, because of us (you and I and any other person who wants to) being able to chat direct with the bosses and them actually listening. Respect Victron.

Trade agreements and stuff will help the east, guaranteed. 4 minutes ago, The Terrible Triplett said: So I am very happy to hear they are making work of it Targeting Europe first I think. We should not forget that these Voltronic inverters also make it into Europe, I would think particularly some of the former Eastern-European ones. That just makes business sense: Invade that market first! :-)

cvzyl
TTT, I don't know the Trojan range that well. I currently have 1275's, that's the only reason I asked about them. I prefer to keep to the 12V batteries, easier to find equipment that can charge and equalise them externally.
Guest
Understood. My suggestion was that it is maybe better to have the higher specced ranges in the shop, and when a specific model is needed, then contact Energy for a price. Why is because on some sites they have pages and pages of batteries that in itself becomes confusing and becomes a real pain to keep up to date. Trojan prices vary due new stock linked to $/Zupta currency.
