JoanTheSpark
I stumbled upon a - for me - new inverter that is hybrid, IP65.. Lantrun Aegis series. Now I naturally wonder (as that unit seems to tick all my boxes, except for stack-ability were I don't have a nay or yay yet) if anyone has experience with them? Thanks. SilverNodashi
I don't think that invert is available in South Africa.

That is to say, nobody's decided to import them :-) Which might be for one of two reasons... either you can't get them past the big brother import regulation people (or does that only apply to stuff with radio transmitters?), or there is just no money to be made in doing such a thing :-)

JoanTheSpark
Well, I sent their contact mail address 2 messages so far and got no reply yet. Will try a 3rd time. The manual definitely doesn't mention anything about stackability and/or zero export - two features I certainly need. I really hate being dragged into needing to do this myself in the end ya know :-(
SilverNodashi
Where did you get it from? Perhaps your supplier could help?
JoanTheSpark
I did download the manual from a solarshop website in Thailand. Pricewise they compare to the Infinisolar models from Voltronics, judging by that website (which is at least 200% over alibaba prices btw). The supplier that made me aware of the unit from a shop on alibaba doesn't seem to know much. But as it's from China the company might actually have extended holidays right around now, so probably just need to be a bit patient with them - but I don't have high hopes of this unit being the right one for me. ;-) PS: I imported my infinisolar myself. Local distris put insane amounts of profit on top and if something breaks I can repair it myself.
