UberflyX
Hi All, I recently set up a system with the King rack mount and a nice 5.2 kWh BlueNova RacPower. Works fine with the USR battery settings but I'd like the get the BMS connected. The King has the LIb setting (firmware 75), and when connecting the battery RS485 to the BMS port on the King after a few minutes I get error 61 The cable was supplied by BlueNova and has pins 1 and 2 on the battery to 3 and 5 on the UPS. 1. Does this UPS have a different pinout? In the manual it alludes to the BMS port also supporting CAN, but not really. I am happy to create a fresh cable, but without documentation I'm blind here. Does anyone have any suggestions? 2. My other option is to fire up Solar-Assistant or something, but then I'm not sure if this battery is supported either. Does anyone have the MODBUS registers for this BMS so that perhaps I can set up something custom in TASMOTA or on a Pi, lol. Thanks! I've not seen a rack mounted King before. Once again, the product precedes the web page and documentation. I wonder if the rack mounted version uses the older pinout, as still used by the MPI Hybrids / Infinis (pins 4 and 5 instead of 3 and 5), as per the post below? Worth a try? Edit: click the arrow, not the rectangle within a rectangle below; it leads to the older post with the WRONG pinout (for newer models at least) !!
