Posted October 19, 20168 yr Hi everyone I'm in need of replacing my batteries 8x 66Kg so looking for a company that will buy them for the lead. In Gauteng (Jhb/PTA)area, thanks
October 21, 20168 yr I too have 4 x 100ah that's already getting tired and looking for a buyback company that gives a fair price. Its only been 14 months on the stride 100ah deep cycle batteries and i can really notice that they are not storing much energy anymore, sould have gone for Trojans. however as my first bank is probably best to learn on cheap batteries before buying real batteries
October 21, 20168 yr FWIW, some battery companies expect the old batteries and if there are none, they may add a fee. They recycle the batteries themselves to keep the cost lower.
October 22, 20168 yr At the price, and at a 30% DoD, the stride actually isn't too bad. I mean, it's not good either... not at all, but not bad either. Not at the price.
