Growatt 5000 es and Narada 48NPFC100 Battery

Featured Replies

Hi All

I need some advice. Recently I have had a Growatt 5000es inverter with a Narada 48NPFC100 battery fitted.

Untill now the installer and myself has not been able to figure out the settings.

I am unsure of the balk and float charge voltage setting and the communication protocol.

MY thinking is if the battery has a BMS and communication port so does the inverter. There should be a way for the 2 to communicate.

currently the Battery SOC and the inverter SOC does not correspond.

is it possible to get the 2 communicating if so how?

Your assistance will be highly appreciate.

Regards

Paul

Hello guys,

Does anyone have any reliable settings for this setup that ensure a good battery life? The settings I am mostly interested in are the following:

  • Setting voltage point back to utility source when selecting SBU (program 12)
  • Setting voltage point back to battery mode when selecting “SBU priority” (program 13)
  • C.V charging voltage (program 19)
  • Floating charging voltage (program 20)
  • Low DC cut-off voltage (program 21)

Thank you in advance

Regards,

Wilson
