Power Trolley

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I'm a complete newbie at thus and need some guidance/advice please. Im in the process of building a portable power trolley for home use. I currently have a Synapse 3,0+ (hybrid) inverter I received from a family member with 2 x 105ah lead acid batteries. I concur that the lead acid batteries are not the best, but that's what I have to use for now until budget allows me to invest in gel or deep cycle batteries....or even one day a lithium battery. Both batteries will be stored in a old pvc container (tote) with holes for the battery cables to the inverter.

A lot of what I have found online speaks about a simple setup using 25mm cable between the inverter and batteries, connected in parallel, with a 60amp fuse and then a 4 or 6mm cable as mains power supplier to the inverter, with at least a 40amp fuse.

That's all good and well, but what I need to know is how to connect everything together.......pls help.

What am I missing? Is it really that simple?
