February 27, 20233 yr Hi I need some opinions and advice. We live in a complex with 16 units. The whole complex is fed via a generator, switchover is via ATS on the main council feed to the complex. The cost of diesel is shared equally among the users (16 units) irrespective of usage. Further, our individual consumption meters still tick over even though we are using generator power and we get charged for electricity over and above the diesel. I am now looking at installing a Sunsynk inverter and have been doing some reading and research. My configuration of the inverter installation will be such that I want to feed the whole DB board, I will not be splitting into essentials and non essentials. I will be using the inverter and batteries as a mobile unit in a rack and wont be fixed to the walls. I know that the Sunsynk needs to have a neutral earth bonding which is done via a relay.
