Growatt SPF5000ES BMS Help Required Error 19

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Please can I get some advice ... I have a Growatt SPF5000ES inverter and a plyontec Up5000 battery. I had the BMS working with no issues on the CAN port and dip switches off on the battery. My settings on the inverter was setting 5 LI ... it then takes you to setting 36 which was 52. This worked perfectly since. I had solar issues which is now resolved. I had replaced a panel this caused my inverter to restart etc in the process and I now keep getting a warning of 19 and a blinking battery. I have no idea how to resolve this and I have been using USE setting to get the system charged in lieu of resolving this. I can't understand how it did work for months ... and just stopped.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you saying all worked correctly up to the point where you had "solar issues"?
You replaced a panel which caused your inverter to restart? Did you do a panel change whilst there was a load on the solar PV?

Hi,

Yes is all worked fine prior to the solar issues. No the installer had shut down the inverter and load etc... then on restart of the sysrem we were unable to get the inverter to use the lithium mode without an error 19.

Thanks
