Warning against buying photovoltaic modules and business with Hongyi New Energy Technology and Micoot Technology.

This is a warning against business with Hongyi New Energy Technology (Hongyi) or Micoot Technology (Micoot) either via Alibaba or direct orders. Both companies are represented by Vanessa May.

My experience with mentioned companies and Vanessa May is as follows:

Hongyi is offering different types of modules on Alibaba with different electrical values which makes sense depending on your inverter. They are offering production pics and showing years of experience. And offering stock in Germany!

In fact, Hongyi is only a very young company with no production and shortly listed an Alibaba.

ORDER 1: I’ve ordered from Hongyi (end of January) via Alibaba a shipment on DDP terms, agreed with no additional costs- delivered door to door. The offer showed stock in Germany therefore a short-term shipment and due to stock already in Europe to be an easy business.

But fact was, delivery came from China and took more than 100 days, and we had to pay port charges, import tax (came from China) and shipping from Vienna to final destination, despite an agreed DDP Shipment (from Germany). And we did not receive the modules we’ve ordered, electrical data differs by 30%. Seller ignored claim.

ORDER 2: A second order was done directly at Micoot, also DDP agreement. This was done for price reason. This delivery has not arrived since end of January. Never received any shipment document.

So, we claimed Order 1 on Alibaba due to shipment from China, additional costs for import tax and port charges. Alibaba did not support buyer. The told me that on the order on page 6 it says shipping term CIF and shipment 90 days. So supplier did quote an told on chat different things than written down in the contract.  Statement from Alibaba to wrong module delivery is – it’s not Alibabas responsibility, this has to be clarified with supplier Hongyi. Hongyis statement, the modules are the correct one, they are full black. The different electrical data were completely ignored.

Asking for the second order, Hongyi blackmailed me to close the claim on Alibaba for order 1 to get the delivery or any information about Order 2.

Till today no shipping information to the second order.

These two companies doing fraudulent trading.

So, don’t order anything at Hongyi or Micoot. Even the delivery arrived it may be the wrong product, you don’ get any helpful information from supplier.

We made failures, but other should not do the same.
