July 23, 2025Jul 23 Hi allHad a solar geyser system originally installed on the flatlet connected to the house but the geyser had burst and replaced in 2022, It has now stopped circulating through the solar circulating pump so we had contacted our insurance to see about a claim and they sent out solar company to assesclaim was denied due to the followingThis is their findings:a. Pump failure due to incorrect installation (original geyser was fitted horizontally with the 24v pump below the water line but new geyser fitted vertically with old pump on topb. Geyserwise Temp probe to panel not connected to panel.c. No 12v Battery backupd. No non return valvee. Pump connection at the Geyserwise Delta T box dysfunctional --tbcDoes this assessment seem accurate that the pump was incorrectly installed etc and should the installer be liable for repairs ?Thank You Edited July 23, 2025Jul 23 by Jonno41 added info
