I have two Pylontech US2000C batteries connected to the above inverter (5=LI,36=L04) BMS Cable Battery RS485 to Inverter RS485 (pin-out spec. Battery 678 to inverter 321) Just to help others the GND pin 6 to 3 is crucial! I had all sorts of annoyances without it.
I have issues with charging:
Firstly if I have the settings as follows:
1=SBU
14=OSO
12=10%
13=15%
21=5%
as long as the battery doesn’t get near the 5% the PV charges the battery up to 15% then the inverter will let PV charge and supply the house until this set point is reached the inverter make Utility power the house. So my question is why won’t the PV relinquish power to both the charger and the house until the battery is charged to setting 13 even when there is plenty of capacity in the PV?
The other scenario, I’ve been tinkering, is as follows
1=SBU
14=OSO
12=10%
13=95%
21=5%
If the battery gets near 5% the BMS tells the inverter to charge from Utility as a self-protect regardless if you have set it to charge from utility or not, I accept that this is intended by design. But what happens is that it, the inverter, insists on charging up to 95% from utility even if PV is available. Is there any setting that stops this?
