  1. I have a Growatt inverter with LiFePo4 battery but do not have BMS with CAN communication. Last month I had a conversation with Growatt support. In my case I have settings for lead-acid batteries. For me, it is not possible to correctly set low voltage to stop discharging. Growatt has a protocol for maintenance battery. That means.. If the voltage of the battery is less than 48 V, the inverter automatically starts to maintain the battery - charging the battery from the grid. When the battery voltage is over 50v stop the charging and automatically start discharging to 48 v. When the voltage is 48 V or less, then again start charging battery then all rules start again ... again... until then when battery is charged from panels. That is a big issue and that is the reason why Growatt destroys lead-acid batteries in a short time. Now, every night , I manually disconnect the battery and in the morning connect the battery again.
