  1. Hi Miradii used the same installer recommended from ecoblue as they work with a plumber to tie in the geyser. Otherwise u have to get separate people to do the jobs which can be tricky. The person who helped me is Roger Here is his contact 074 345 9363
  2. Thought I would share an update just got the geyser installed last week and the results so far are great. No running out of cold water Power consumption is massively down. Just want to monitor the gas use now. geyser was installed on the afternoon of the 9th sept Hoping it will pay itself off soon. Thank u all for your huge help here!!🥳
  3. Thanks you everyone for the help on this topic... I would not have been able to make a good choice. Went with Paloma 26lt gas geyser from give it gas... Due to the demand stock is only arriving end of the month in SA. Hoping it will be installed by Sept. Will feedback after it's all done. The give it gas team were excellent so far thank you @Leshen for the reference. Hoping all will be smooth with installation and start up
  4. From what I understand u can connect it to a UPS to help overcome the ignition problem during loadshedding
  5. Thank you everyone for the advice and help. Really appreciate it
  6. @PsyWulf just worried about running out of hot water two kids wife and helper. If two people have a shower the waters out. Was wanting to go slightly bigger and not worry about hot water shortage again. Would a 20lt meet the home needs? Thanks alot for the help
  7. Hi everyone hope someone could help me. Looking to have a gas geyser installed in my unit. Either a Rinnai or Paloma as the most reliable units. Looking to connect it in series from my current 150lt electric geyser to the gas geyser from an installation perspective as the 150lt geyser is just to small for the household. If anyone could help me with reasonable suppliers in JHB Midrand area. Some of the prices for installation of a 26lt geyser are over R40k which seems excessive. Appreciate the help. You could pm me directly if the forum doesn't allow sharing supplier names on the posts. Thanks alot for the help
