  1. Price is totally negotiable at time if I decide to sell. Constructive input. Thank you
  2. Agree fully. It's crazy that this battery cost 26k not very long ago. The unfortunate part is that the 5.1 is not compatible with the 4.8 and the A48100 are actually selling for more than the 5.1 . Alot of kits were sold with the A48100 batteries and just in case there might be someone wanting to add onto their systems.
  3. So as title says I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing. Asking price: 14k . I got battery as part of backup system kit with growatt spf5000es installed 3rd July 2022. It was used for load shedding back then. In Jan 2023 we got put on essential grid and then battery was never drained unless there was a 132kva trip or power failures in area due to something else. The dod is 90 percent but was set to 80 percent as default setting on the inverter. The battery hit that mark probably a total of 4 times. Still functions extremely well. I recently got solar panels finally and I'm considering getting a larger capacity battery due to mounting space constraints. Have all paperwork and cables and manuals etc. Don't have the box anymore unfortunately. Regards Jeff
  4. Hello. My name is Jeff and so glad to have found this platform. Please forgive me as this is all completely new to me and I have alot to learn. I recently purchased the above mentioned kit as a backup power solution for the dreaded loadshedding and I am looking to acquiring solar panels in the near future. Have a question about Dipswitch and protocol settings: The installer setup the system with Dipswitch 0110 (2 and 3 UP) and on the inverter is was set to Li for Lithium and protocol 1. It worked just fine but I noticed my fans would be constantly on and sounded like full tilt. I then changed the Dipswitch to 0010 (3 Up only) and to protocol 52 on the inverter according to a data sheet from Solarway suppliers from whom I purchased the kit. I am using the comms cable with the Growatt label in the Dyness Battery box and that is connected to the in port on the Battery and the BMS port on the inverter. It works just fine and I noticed now the fans ramp up and down and switch off from time to time. Is this the correct setting and what are the differences between the protocol settings? Also any other recommended settings and advice would be highly appreciated for the current setup and solar in the future. The Growatt spf500es Inverter is version 4.0 and running firmware 067.01/068.01 Looking foward to being a part of the community. Have a blessed weekend ahead๐Ÿ™
