It was resolved. Deye responded quite quickly and advised they will send down the new update. Within about 8 hours of that mail I was informed they're pushing the update, about 30 mins later it wad done. Haven't had the issue again and we've deep drained the battery on at least 2 occasions during Stage 6.
Hoping it's the same quick and easy fix for your client.
