Got too excited too soon, my first tank got finished this morning. Almost 6months later 😀
But I must say, we abused the gas these past weeks in JHB when it was cloudy and rainy, never used solar to heat the water because I wanted the batteries to get more charging and wanted the gas to finish before winter so that I can refill. with recent price hikes, it works out to R300 spending per month for cooking during power cuts and still getting hot water any time of day or night. Total for the refill, R1700, delivered, offloaded and connected to my supply

Low-pressure systems are gravity fed and have what looks like a toilet cistern on them. High pressure is the normal one we see.

Cost wise the low-pressure is super cheap and fitted on RDP houses - R8K for a 150L. You can sometimes get them even cheaper if you have a contact that supplies RDP developments.
