  1. 5Kw LUXPOWER INVERTER, GENERATOR AND LITHIUM BATTERY

    Cant find a definite answer to this question on the forum: I have a 5kW Luxpower SNA inverter and a 5kW Li battery, no solar panels. I want to get a 3,2kW Mac Afric inverter generator to charge the battery via the inverter during long periods of load shedding, + 6 hours. Q1. is the 3,2kW generator big enough for the purpose of charging the battery? Q2. Is the connection of the generator to the inverter just a matter of connecting the three wires from the generator or do you also have to change settings on the inverter. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

    I have exactly the same question. Would just like to charge the battery during the end of long periods of load shedding. Would a 2000W Ryobi inverter generator be OK for this? Thanks, Ron
