    Hey Sc00bs,
Thanks for sharing your YouTube video! I just wanted to drop a quick note to say that your video was incredibly helpful. After watching it, I decided to give the integration between Home Assistant and SunSynk a try.
I must admit, I encountered a few hiccups along the way. In fact, I had to restore from a VM snapshot once due to some issues. But I persevered, and now my Home Assistant is successfully reading the data from my SunSynk inverter.
My next step is to back up the data and verify that it's coming from my inverter located at my HA setup and not from the second property. Once I've got that sorted out, the real fun can begin!
Thanks again for sharing your expertise through your video. It made a significant difference in getting me started on this integration journey.

    Hello everyone,
Thank you for this thread as this solution is a much needed one. However I'm reaching out seeking guidance and assistance and I'm hoping someone with experience in this area can lend a hand.
To provide some context, I'm fairly new to Home Assistant but have managed to set up a virtual machine (VM) running Home Assistant for my home automation endeavors. While I'm eager to learn and improve my setup, I have to admit that I'm not strong in coding or programming, despite being in the IT industry.
Currently, I've connected Home Assistant to my Paradox Alarm system (which took a while - like 5 months), making use of PIR sensors for automation purposes. However, I've not yet mastered the creation of automation rules, and I'd greatly appreciate some assistance in that regard (as well).
But to the main request: I have two SunSynk inverters for my home automation project. One is a 5kW inverter without panels, while the other is an 8kW inverter paired with 12 panels (two different houses). Being located in South Africa, I'm particularly interested in integrating SunSynk into my existing smart home infrastructure, to manage load shedding effectively.
If any of you are willing to assist integrating my SunSynk inverters with Home Assistant (and teaching me), I kindly ask for your help.
I value the spirit of this forum and the willingness of its members to help each other out, and I truly appreciate any assistance you can offer. Your expertise and insights would not only benefit me but also contribute to the community's collective knowledge but I know your time is valuable. Therefore I'm willing to pay for the learning experience.
Thank you for taking the time to read my request.

@Gary Waterworth   Did a quick YouTube video on how to install your software and to get the data into HASS, no cards or anything so very basic.
Please let me know what you guys think of my first attempt. 🙂
Will probably get a license for the software so can get rid of the watermark with some time, will also work on the production side a bit to make it slicker but thought I had to start somewhere
