Hi
We are about to give the go ahead for solar but the installer, who quoted us on Sunsynk inverter and batteries (at our request), has now suggested we use Hubble batteries instead which are rated 1C compared to Sunsynk at 0.5C (even if rated 1C, apparently is more like 0.5C and > than that may make the warranty void anyway).
We will have 1 x 8kw inverter and two 5kW batteries. The installer feels the Sunsynk batteries will only be able to give ~2.5kWh per battery, while the Hubble will give us nearly 5kWh.
I understand we have a better warranty if we use both Sunsynk inverter and batteries but that is not my main concern. I am interested in better output and efficiency.
Another option suggested by the installer, would be to install a 3rd Sunsynk battery.
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and comments.
Many thanks
Z
