bloues got a reaction from BritishRacingGreen in Ready to pull the trigger....Hello all,
I am ready to pull the trigger on a PV installation but I need guidance, comments and suggestions on my design and the system that I am planning to install. I've spent a fair amount of time reading through the forum to educate myself. There will be things that I've overlooked and this is where I need your suggestions on the selected system and input on my design.
Background:
Goal is to minimize electricity bill to a minimum; Not to even mention load shedding Combined daily average usage ~33kWh measured since Nov 2022 for house and flat House geyser (200L, 4kw element) - big contributor to overall electricity bill; Planning on installing a heat pump to cut away the hungry 4kW element. Flat geyser (150L, 2kw element) Max power demand for house and flat captured since Nov 2022 - see attached picture Business running from home The plan is to install a Sunsynk 8kW inverter with 16x 550W Canadian Solar panels and 10kWh battery storage - see attached design. I am almost of the view that I will be able to run the house and flat fully on the essential side, maybe with the help of timers etc. The design also makes provision for non-essential and aux load circuits just in case I need to move some circuits to the non-essential / aux load side. I'll appreciate your inputs/guidance and happy to clarify/answer any questions you may have.
Thanks
