Hi all, I would like to find out about adding different wattage panels to an existing system if that is possible and what the correct way to connect. I will be getting an installer to do the job, i would just like to get some feedback and advice. Current system: 1x 8.8kw Sunsynk Inverter/1x 5.32kw Sunsynk Battery/8x460w JA Solar panels. Due to my roof space i have 4x West facing and 4 North facing on a lower roof. As per the photos they are split into 4 on MPPT1 and 4 on MPPT 2. Due to stock i can get 4x550w JA Solar panels and i would like to add those on my upper North facing roof after moving my solar geyser panel. Is this possible to mix the panels and how does one wire it to the inverter that they dont pull each other down depending on the time of day? Im aware the 8kw has 4 solar plug in ports. I take i would need to add a separate circuit breaker to the additional string? Im based in Cape Town. Any knowledge and advice would be greatly appreciated.
