Finally worked out where the problem was. Having Unticked grid peak shaving to no avail until I realised that  the gen peak shaving setting would probably have the same same effect (yes I am that slow) I found that this was the case. I tried to untick via the app from work on Friday and for some reason the changes I do on my app do not go through despite the app popping up a notification that he change is actioned or some such. I did this on the inverter when I got home and lo and behold problem all sorted. Thank you so much for your help!! It would have been sorted same day if only my brain got into gear a little sooner.
If anyone could tell me why changes made on the app don't take that would be great too, no doubt I am missing something?
