    It makes no difference if the Sunsynk are correctly setup it will do the charging automatically you don't have to worry about it if you have adequate solar production during the day it will keep your battery full as first priority and then use what is left to cover your loads. During overcast spells it will use grid to supplement battery and load.

    It makes no difference to the battery. Obviously it's cheaper to charge from solar but nothing stops you from charging from grid on bad solar days.
