    For anyone interested I figured out what the issue is. On the application form I indicated 16kVA on the grid where in fact due to the mechanical and software limits it will be 13.8kVA.

    Any one else applied or have experience that can help with this comment from council - design (our need) requires something bigger than 8kVA - so next up in line we chose a 16kVA but MCB is at 60A? Got a response from council stating that inverter size can only be up to 13.8kVA due to incomer breaker size. Is this limit a SANS 10142 or NRS limit? Not feeding back into grid - will install CT. I have a 60A breaker on supply and discharge from the inverter. Isn't that sufficient to protect cabling and ensure the output is limited? Any wise words would be appreciated
