I read around Jk inverter bms have problem with communication,but I cant help you because i have Jk Bms(normal one) and it is connected to Inverter port by iBMS,a DIY esp32 board that talk to inverter and bms, It is still in development,but is working fine with my Max 11kw inverter...and works also with 5048MGX.

I tested Fw: 273.78 yesterday,I think something not working..today i installed Fw:73.06 and was ok same as Fw:73.78. I want to clarify:I m using solar tracker and the sky was super clear in all the test i made since 7 days. I notice that shifting solar panel position trigger Mppt to recalculate Volt and Amp, so i used to shift tracker position back from 15° west to 1° west and back to 15°W, to regain Pv Imput..this works,but after a while Mppt start again to go crazy. Again switching solar panel position,trigger Mppt to ricalculate. I think some patch not matching with fw: 73.08,something strange. I post graph for better understanding.

I no have the knowledge to say patches cause the problem. I think it was because Mppt is set to 150V in Fw:573.78.... I think i should try: 273.78 with Mppt @200V as Fw: 373.63 Mppt @200V was working good for me... I think that 200V mppt was optimal for my setup. What you think? Before 13.13 was in SBU mode (i write it on the bottom of the picture). I try command QMPL eith original Fw:73.78..but I get answer NAK.... Why? I used Communication Tool.

Tree days ago I installed Fw:73.78,instead of 273.78..because I think was interesting to test original firmware 73.78 with different "Maximum Power Low panel voltage ...I try command QMPL...answer Nak. Still have 100V stack(with full sun)...but no so evident voltage drop is Sub Sbu Line What i see is when inverter is Sub or Line ,Mppt is lazy to rump up with power. One strange thing happen today:i manually move solar panel out of focus 10° to see how Mppt behave: I think Mppt restarts a new Voltage/Ampere tracking and solar power goes up;Voltage decrease...Current increase. What I should try next: 273.78 or Version(@200V) or 173.78 minimum MPPT voltage of 120 V ?? I post some Graph:

Yes,that one is correct. I tested yesterday and today with full sun...I no get voltage dropping...still stuck 100V in early morning.

Before installing 573.78 i never had this problem,I check from my old graph. In some old graph pictures i post before,can see Voltage and Amp go up and down,but that are the 2 water pumps alternatelly start and stop...one 850Watt other 1150 Watt.. and goes on till 17.30. Today sunny with some clouds passing...i get even 3200 watt from panel..(after cloud passing) but many strange things happened: Battery finish charging 13.55 (SBU mode) Pv Input 3200 watt;water pump 850 watt start... and there Volts from 267 goes 334V,but Amp drop to 0,5A...watt drop to 198w,so inverter start to take from the battery... I switch to SUB mode,power start to rump up,but stops and go down again..so i switch LINE mode,start to rump up,but stops and go down again!! switch back again to SUB same behaviour ramp Up and go down...only at 15.13 i swich To Line and Power goes to 2100 Watt.. All this is very strange never happen with 73.06,73.78,373.63 or 273.73. I think best think to do is try 273.78 because is same 200V as 373.73. If the problem not fixed i will install 73.78 and see. P.S:...mmm i dont remember how many times is possible do do Fw update. I post today graph Fw 573.78.I made more detail graph.

Today I test Version 573.78 MPPT voltage of 150 V. I notice more watt in the morning and even after 18.00 Pm still give me some watts. Stack at 100 V for a little in the morning only. i notice strange behaviour today,when i switch inverter in SUB mode... Mppt start going crazy..Hight Voltage ..low amp..low watt... after i switch to Line panels start again to produce normal power. I attach graph. Tomorrow will test more.

During this days of full sun I tested Fw 73.06.. 100 V bug is still there,but is more reactive to rump up power from panels.In the morning goes up quickly to 2000 watt about 9.45. This Fw tend to keep Voltage more hight and lower the ampere...this seem working to produce more Watt in the morning and evening..i still get some watt after 18.00 Pm!! the peak power is same.Also when cloud go away ,immediately panel Watt go up. May be is worth to give a try to patch 73.06. As i mention in the previus post ,about a funcion to set Minimum Panel voltage for MPPT...you mention is present now in the new FW 73.78 I post graph to understand. Later I will install one of your new patched fw. Thanks for the job. UPDATE: just installed 573.78,all fine. I try with with Communication tool to send command QMPL , i get NAKss response.

ooo I see ..things look more complicated..many thinks to think about...more work what I can do is test 73.06.and see how it work....so we can find best Firmware to start on. I would put a new inverter setting to set Total Panel Voltage...like this can change Voltage to match every user configuration, and also use one voltage for winter and others for summer. and can do more with Homeassistant and 1 light sensor...can send new Voltage setting to inverter accordingly if cloudy or not! would be nice ..Daily voltage regulation... This evening i will install Fw 73.06 and see how it work,and i will update info about it.

Today i got a new Fw from Mpp Solar ,Version 73.78 for Max 11.... tonight i install and tomorrow can test. Hope this will solve Stucked 90Volt and some power generation issue.

Ah...ok.. 73.06 looks interesting. Would be very nice if you can implement set of patches to 73.06. I saw you post original 73.06,is it safe? can I try to install it? Thank you very much.

During this past month i try swapping between 373 and 273;I see 373 is little better give me about 100-150 watts more. Pv imput voltage is from 250 to 320 volt. Now the sun is not anymore far South (for vinter solstice)...so should produce more power...but dont. Stay about 2700-2850 watt.Missing 400-600 watt compared to my old Pip 5048Mgx! I noticed that Mppt controller is like slow to rump up the power... Can you please find some time to implement other patches?

I got same problem with 5048 MGX,and this get fixed by Pip 5048 Mgx 71.10 Firmware sent my by Pip. I attach you this file on 23/09/21 on the other forum in private message...you should have in your Goo gle drive. i was thinking if you can check what is the modify they made,compared to previus Fw....that is the difference. Thanks for all your help.

During this past 20 days,i try FW: 373.63 and FW: 273.63, but I notice PV1 Solar Panel input stay about 2600-2800 watt,even with full sunny days. This is very strange,because before with Pip 5048MGX i was normally gettin Pv imput about 3000-3400. Panel are clean,and I am using a solar tracker. Any suggestion?

All worked fine,I set parameter PCVT060 .i update to FW: 373.63, I try MY CONVERTER Prolific PL2303GTbut cant connect even to watchpower, before connection with 5048MGX inverter was fine.I try with another laptop,but same no connection,,,,I borrow a FTDI converter and all fine. Please stick this info somewhere. Today was cloudy cover with little rain and Pv Voltage was stuck 100V till 15.17when I updated Fw,then Pv input jump to 300V. Hope tomorrow is sunny,to make a nice test. I attach graph. for real understanding. Thanks to Coulomb for his great job.

Question:can be the inverter connected to the battery and to external electric company ?(i know load must be 0) or is better i keep only battery connected or only utility. Another question: I see from Qpiri command that Setting max charging time at C.V stage is set to 480 minutes(too much), (230.0 47.8 230.0 50.0 47.8 11000 11000 48.0 49.0 47.0 54.8 53.8 2 002 060 0 1 2 9 01 0 0 52.0 0 1 480 0 000) i have to lover Bulk Voltage otherwise battery start peaking... I my previus 5048 MGX have inverter menu N.32 where can set max charging time at C.V stage ,usually i set 60 minute. How i can send PCVT060 command from a windows machine to change Setting max charging time at C.V stage? which program? I attch today Pv Input Voltage,just to compare...today was more sunny.

Hi all I just get a new MppSola Max 11 with remuvable LCD Display. Firmware version:U1=73.07 and U2=12.21. Have only 1 string:8x470 W in series 43.7 Volt...10,7 Amp As can see from attach file,panels are stack 100V...this week was cloudy,Never test with sunny day. But I can remember with previus inverter Pip5048Mgx,start to produce Watts about 7 Am..I using a solar tracker. I see 273.63 or 373.63 that come from new faactory fw 73.63. -373.63 have MPPT voltage is pegged at 200 V. and what voltage is 273.63 Mppt Set? What firmware should install for my setting?i try original 73.63 first? This from 11Max;Voltage on top and Amp on bottom (1day only). - This from 5048Mgx...can see start early in morning.
