Munashe got a reaction from zsde in Pylontech vs HubbleSo 4 years ago I bought a complete offgrid system from Segen and paid R96k for it, the system has been working fine until recently the pylontech batteries started not charging except for one master battery. I reached out to Segen since the batteries have a 10 year warranty and they said I should bring in the batteries for data extraction. After extraction they said the batteries are overcharged and the cells are dead so NO WARRANTY 🤔?? The question is simple how is that my fault as a client, the batteries have a BMS that suppose to regulate the charging and discharging ? They’re citing sometimes the BMS sends signal to the inverter to stop charging and the inverter takes time to stop charging (without evidence for this). What if the BMS died or the battery cells died and now it all pinned on the customer. Is this how SegenSolar - Pty Ltd. SegenSolar Europe operate? I deserve better.
