About Me
I am electrical engineer, with over 30 years of experience, I am specializing in protection Systems and industrial electrical maintenance, I have experience in the predictive Electric maintenance through the handling of infrared Thermography, ultrasonic inspection program and relay functions and protection test. I have done projects in generators, feeders and motors protection relays and I was responsible for protective relay settings.
Achievements:
Protection and coordination study in the cement plant, from the Centers Motor Control at 460 volts until the power generation (57 MW), at 13,800 Volts and implementation of study results.
Development of engineering and installation of the pilot wire relay type: SIEMENS 7SD610, for overhead lines numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 of 30 MW each, at 13,800 Volts.
Selection, engineering design and installation of the generator protection relays, type: SIEMENS 7UM622 for generators GT-6 (15 MW) and GT-7 (30 MW). And development of control logic using CFC.
Installation and setting of protective equipment, such as: SIEMENS 7SJ512, 7SJ62, 7SJ63, 7TU612, ABB REM543, REF543, Multin469, Multilin269,for medium-sized Motors, Transformer and Feeder, in medium voltage Switchgear at Pertigalete cement plant.
Certificate Engineer and responsible of Inspection thermographic with camera type: FLIR Systems T420, to Switchgear, busbar and electrical equipment for the plant.
Calibration tests and start-up of the DC systems (Panelboards, Switchboards, Battery Monitor) the project: Third set of locks for the Panama Canal, GUPC – Panamá.
Testing and programming of protection relays SCHNEIDER SEPAM S20 and SEPAM S84, at Miraflores photovoltaic project - Panamá.
Testing of protection relays SCHNEIDER SEPAM M41, SEPAM T20 y SEPAM S40, at Degrémont plant-wastewater treatment: Llano Bonito and Chanis, Juan Díaz - Panamá.
Testing and programming of protection relays SIEMENS SIPROTEC 5: 7SJ85, 7UM85, 7UT82, and Commissioning in Project Expansion of Tocumen International Airport - Terminal 2- Panamá.
Commissioning for the energization of transformer T5 of 350 MW / 230/115 Kv at the substation Panamá 1 of ETESA.
Developer and creator of the Relay Tripping Curves Software, to graph the adjustment curves of the ANSI 50/51 function of any protection relay manufacturer.
