  1. Hey everyone, I’ve been seriously considering getting an electric vehicle, but I’m currently looking at the used EV market since it fits my budget better. I’ve seen a few second-hand Leafs, i3s, and even a couple of older Kona EVs around. Just wanted to ask — for those of you who have experience with used EVs, what should I be looking out for? Especially in terms of battery health, software updates, and any red flags during a test drive? Also, do most EVs allow you to check battery degradation easily, or would I need special tools/apps? Appreciate any tips or things I should ask the seller. Hoping to make the switch to electric soon. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to solar and recently got a basic setup installed at home (5kW inverter with 4.8kWh lithium battery and 6 panels). Everything seems to be working fine, but I’ve noticed that my inverter makes a faint humming or buzzing noise, especially during the day when it’s sunny. It’s not loud or disruptive, just something I noticed because the inverter is mounted inside my garage. I asked the installer, and he said it’s normal, but I just wanted to check with the community here — is this humming sound common with inverters? Or could it be a sign of something wrong? Also, is it normal for the sound to get a bit louder when the solar production is at its peak? Thanks in advance! Looking forward to learning more from you all as I go deeper into this solar journey. 🌞
