  1. Embarking on a Solar/Smart home journey

    Hi there! I am a new solar user, with a very limited, self-taught tech knowledge. I don't have a background in IT, and no knowledge of coding or more advanced computing like that. I've acquired a Sunsynk 5kva installation, and am trying to to build a smart energy network around that. From my research, I've decided to go for a Solar assistant setup, with home assistant managing my devices. I just purchased a pre-loaded SA Raspberry Pi, with RJ485 connectors etc. But immediately I've hit a snag. The Pi won't connect via WiFi or Bluetooth - only via ethernet. I've tried on/off on Pi, routers. I've tried reflashing the Pi with SA image file. All to no avail. Right now I don't have my inverter wired for ETH to the router, and that's gonna take me a while to be able to do that. Any help with troubleshooting the WiFi connectivity would be greatly appreciated 🙏.
