Thanks for the suggestion! I actually had extensive discussions with Inverter Warehouse in this regard. However their policy is quite strict: they do not accept returns or exchanges once the box has been opened, even if the unit was never installed. In my case, I literally opened the box, placed the inverter on my bench, inspected it, noted the width discrepancy, took photos and packed it back in the box. I was anticipating the width to be 330mm as per the SUN-5K-SG04LP1-EU user manual, but was in fact 376mm wide (I did not realise there was a difference between models SUN-5K-SG04LP1-EU & SUN-5K-SG04LP1-EU-SM2). Because of that, I’m listing it here. They may be someone who would appreciate a discount on the retail markup. I have posted the original invoice from Inverter Warehouse to prove it’s brand new and to ensure the 5-year warranty is fully valid for the buyer. The Deye warranty period generally starts from the date of professional installation (or six months after production, whichever is earlier). Happy to let a local member inspect the unit to see it’s in mint condition.
