In April 2020 I purchased and installed a Kodak 5KW off-grid inverter (5.48) with a Pylontech US2000 battery. It was an absolute perfect match and the BMS works perfectly. I have now ordered exactly the same kit for a friend (and a Pylontech US3000C for myself). Now I sit with completely mis-matched components and the BMS does not work. I have heard about "different chips" and firmware upgrades to inverters and batteries. Then I am told only certified field technicians and engineers may do the upgrades which will cost me in the end. I think the industry players are letting us down. This problem has been known for some time as well as the new firmware being available. Why are the firmware upgrades not being done before the equipment is dispatched ? This is somewhat dissappointing.
