    On Tuesday I've sent emails to 8 solar energy businesses in Port Elizabeth. I've received read receipts from many of them, but not a single reply from any of them. I'm having a new house built. The deal I have with the contractor is that I'll supply the equipment, but his electrician must do the install. So any advice where I could go in PE to buy the equipment needed for a PV system? Preferably a place willing to communicate online. I have the following requirements: Daily usage: 2.5KWh Max draw: 1KW So I thought the following should fit my needs: Inverter: 2KW Solar panels: 700W - 800W total, plus charge controllers as needed. I'd prefer a system with separate charge controller and inverter. Batteries: 4 x 150Ah or similar to store about 3KWh energy. Plus necessary cables, connectors and switches. Any recommendations on makes and models also welcome.
