Im busy doing a installation for a client we did the first part of the installation battery backup only.
He had a old 40kva UPS system in the house with 35 Lead acid cells system could only handle a hour then it was kaput. He has a mayor issue on his bills with eskom aswell with the UPS on he pulled a extra 5amp per phase. Upon closer inspection there was a short on one of the batteries but none the less we installed the new system came out awesome. 5kva Kodak hybrid per phase each on a 5.12Kwh battery. We going back for the PV's soon.
