December 7, 20169 yr I just want to find out how reliable are this inverters.Iam about to buy 2000watt 12v powerstar w7 inverter to power up my small 250 watt freezer.
December 7, 20169 yr Welcome thefrans. FWIW, the rule of thumb: Less than 1000w - 12v Less than 2000w - 24v Less 3000w + is 48v
December 8, 20169 yr Those inverters are quite reliable, but it's not a hybrid inverter. i.e. it either works on Eskom, or batteries. 2000W @ 12V is fine, if that's what you can get, but I feel it's a bit overkill just for the fridge?
