As a side comment I note you have not ground your batteries

I will try and figure out how to do that at some point.

If you would like to suggest a method, or point to an online article showing the procedure, I can look into it

6 weeks since the BMS board was replaced; error has not repeated; not even once. Looks likely the correct fix was done.

The battery charge levels still go out of alignment by 2% - 5% as before, e.g. one battery might be at 68% and another at 72%. So likely that has nothing to do with the problem.

Edit Feb 2023: Now nearly a year, still fine.

We can help with Pylontech warranty replacements!
We’ve had great experiences getting Pylontech warranty cases approved and know exactly how to handle them.

If you have HV alarms on your Pylontech US2000, US3000 or US5000 batteries used with Victron, we can help you get brand new, sealed replacements directly from Pylontech.

How it works:
1️⃣ You confirm that you only have HV alarms (no other errors).
2️⃣ We send you a cable to read out the log files.
3️⃣ We submit the warranty claim for you with the correct explanation.
4️⃣ Once approved, you pack the affected batteries on a pallet – Pylontech arranges pickup and sends new batteries for free.

We charge €150 per new replacement battery (after you receive them).

Cable & initial diagnosis: €25 service fee.

Interested? Just send us a message! Greetings from Austria.
