PylonTech batteries not giving backup

Featured Replies

I have recently had a Zappi 2 installed, since when my PylonTech batteries are not charging/discharging.

My system, 32solar panels (8kw) Enphase with inbuilt micro inverters, 4 Pylontech batteries, original US 2000 plus 3 US200C recently added.

US2000C acting as master.

Batteries appear to be charging but do not show on LuxPower app. or on the Zappi app.

Any help/suggestions as to solving my problem would be much appreciated.

Original installation was by Pheonix Works who I believe have since folded.

Zappi charges my EV from solar fine.

Many thanks

Many thanks for your reply, sorry to be ignorant, I assume that the cable you are referring to is the blue cable from the inverter to the US 2000C battery.

I have already changed (upgraded) the black RJ45 cable from the inverter to the US2000C replacing the cable that was used with my original US2000 battery.

Hope this makes some sense, thanks for your help.

I have checked the blue cable and it has a label on it "battery BMS Can type A".

Trying to understand Pylontech website I believe that this is the correct cable from the inverter to the US2000B battery.

Your comments and any further thoughts would be appreciated.
