kodak vmiii 5kw + Fox ESS lv2600

Featured Replies

Hi there

I used to run an Ellies trolley to power my office during loadshedding. Batteries lasted around 4.5 years.

As I move around a lot I decided to build my own battery box using a kodak vmiii 5kw inverter and a Fox ESS lv2600 2.56kw battery. Aim is to add another battery soon.

I've noticed that the Kodak inverter fans come on every few minutes. This is with nothing connected but the battery. Is this normal? My Ellies box would only make a noise during loadshedding and after when recharging the batteries.

Can anyone advise what settings I am suppose to set here?

Also, is there another tool I can use to get better battery stats other than the android app watchpower?

Thank you

Yes, received settings from the manufacturer. Do you need them?
