Problem:

My solar system is set up to run the whole house. Thus saying, I don't have an essential and non essential DB as I am running my geyser on solar during the day to ensure that it heats up while the sun makes electricity. Solar will heat the geyser up till 65 degrees between 11:00 and 15:00 and I will have warm water at 23:00 at night. When I need warm water at 05:00, there isn't any as I dont let the geyser use my battery power.

 

Question:

Is there a way I could set the Geyser up to automatically switch over to grid during the night to maintain the heat? I currently have a Sonoff geyser timer to switch the geyser on during the day. Is there a way I could wire the geyser to the grid along with the sonoff with the solar?
