Display flickering on Kodak

Some of the characters on the display of a Kodak OGS5.6 are flickering. It is a new inverter. The previous Synapse inverter was doing the same thing. What could cause that? 

Most tests have been done on electrical side. Frequency, voltage are all in spec and stable.
