October 21, 20223 yr I have a solar system originally installed with a Sunny Boy inverter. I changed out the inverter for a Growatt SPH6000 as I wish to add batteries to my inverter now. I have literally removed the plugs and put them into the Growatt inverter. I have purchased two Eitai 9.6K Lithium batteries and installed per instructions. I have finally resolved a coms error but now I am finding that the inverter is saying the battery is full but it won't discharge to the load so it is full without doing anything. If I change the battery to lead acid it shows a battery of 68% but still doesn't discharge. I am also noticing that the load is showing zero until the PV starts generating and also doesn't show as the load being higher than the PV at any time which is odd. When I put my EV on charge through the zappi and put on fast charge it shows a load of combined 7.4kw but on the inverter, it still only shows a load of 0.3kw which is the house only and not including the demand for the car. So three problems: Battery not discharging, Load not showing until PV on, Load not including EV Any help would be hugely appreciated as I have spent hours with Growatt and the supplier and still no joy. I am happy to pay for someone to come out and resolve it for me, just seems no one wants to come unless you purchase panels or an inverter from them!
