October 29, 20223 yr Greetings, I have an entry level system, consisting of the below, and need some advice/help please. I have a 3kW trolley inverter (Mecer Axpert SOL-I-AX-3VP) with Lithium batteries. As I'm renting at the moment, I haven't had it installed via the DB board, and I'm just charging it from the mains. The inverter is solar compatible, and I have 3x 330W panels 'lying around'. Looking at the inverter booklet and panel specs, my best guess is that I should be connecting these in parallel. This is completely new ground to me and I probably need a lot more than a few MC4 cables and connectors, so I've decided to ask for help instead of attempting this myself. I'll also probably be putting the panels flat on the lawn or on top of the car port rather than fixing them to the roof. I can post the specs here if anyone is able to help, either with advice or referring me to a professional. But I also at least want to understand what needs to be done. Thanks :)

Thanks You'll put them in Series to reach the MPPT startup voltage likely Tally up the Voc of the panels and check the inverter MPPT startup voltage

I've attached the spec sheets snapped from the back.
October 29, 20223 yr The panels are 47 VOC Inverter is max rated for 80 VOC. It will have to be parallel. Even two of those panels in series exceed the max.

Thank you, that makes sense. I wasn't sure if I should look at VOC or VMP. I'll get a three way splitters set, and I probably need to add a fuse/trip switch somewhere.
