I was running a RCT-Axpert 5K with 4x Silver Calcium batts, charged by Mains, no panels. Replaced batts about 4 months ago. When power went out the other day, nothing happened except the flickering of the inverter panel and the sound of a relay clicking on and off the whole time. I switched off everything a switched back on, same. I read that it might be one off the batteries that blew a fuse, but had inverter replaced by a company same day (Mecer SOL-I-AX-5VP), reconnecting existing batteries. Everything works well, except now I have less than half the usage as normal. But my actual question, is the old inverter really damaged and why would the new system start up is a fuse was blown on one of the four batteries?
