Posted January 15, 20232 yr Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forum and currently in the process of setting up my first inverter backup system. Apologies if this has been asked before, I can't find a similar topic when I search. I'm considering a Pylon UP5000 battery however I see that it only comes with a 5 year warranty and 4500 cycles, anyone know why the warranty has been reduced when compared to other Pylon batteries? The other option is a Pylon US3000, this has a 10 year warranty and 6000 cycles. However is smaller, 3.5kwh vs the 4.8kwh of the UP5000. I don't mind buying a smaller battery if it is better from a lifespan and quality perspective, I can always add another US3000 in future if needed. Thanks in advance!
